🧹 Where It All Began: Before Art Became My Full-Time World

Before art became my full-time world, I spent 15 years working as a domestic cleaner.

Life looked very different then.

It was more structured.
More routine.
More predictable in some ways.

I moved through other people’s homes, doing the work that needed to be done — the practical, everyday work that keeps life moving.

When I heard what had happened, I called my client straight away.

“What do you need? What can I do?”

And very quickly, the answer became clear.

The animals needed somewhere safe.
