About the Piece

This mosaic depicts two seahorses navigating dark, rough world around them, guided by the shining light of their true love connection. The composition explores the themes of love, guidance, and resilience, translating the fragile beauty of the ocean into a lasting work of art.

Size: 96cm x 90cm

Materials: Hand-cut tiles, custom mixed grout, mounted on raw recycled pine.

Technique: Shard Painting Technique, using the tiles and the grout to create the illumination of their love where their bodies are connected.

Status: Submitted for exhibition at MAANZ Victoria 2025
