🕰️ Some Companion Artworks Reach Back 15 Years
One of the most special parts of the companion artwork concept is that not every piece is brand new.
Some companion artworks may come from much earlier in my creative life — in some cases, up to 15 years ago.
These older works are not included because they are “old stock” or leftover pieces.
They are included because they belong to the story, some of these are the original concepts.
Sometimes an artwork created years ago carries the same emotional seed as a mosaic made much later. Sometimes a symbol returns without planning. Sometimes an old colour palette, character, mood, or feeling finds its way into a new mosaic and suddenly the connection becomes clear.
That is when the companion artwork becomes especially meaningful.
It lets members receive not only the current mosaic story, but also a little glimpse into the earliest chapters of my artistic journey.
